For Admins
Organization Settings - Ambo Docs
Configure your Ambo organization: brand identity, LinkedIn integration, automated sharing schedules, and email domain controls.
Organization settings control how Ambo behaves for your entire organization. Most of these are configured once during setup and rarely need to change. Go to Settings → Organization to access them.
Brand identity
Logo Upload your organization’s logo. It appears in the Ambo interface for your users. Supported formats are standard image types (PNG, JPG). The file is stored securely and served from cloud storage.
Brand voice Write a short description of your organization’s tone, style, and communication preferences. Ambo’s AI content generator uses this when creating post variations from RSS feed articles or when you use the manual content generator. A more specific brand voice produces more on-brand suggestions.
Example: “Professional but approachable. We focus on practical insights, avoid jargon, and write for a senior B2B audience.”
LinkedIn integration
Paste your LinkedIn Organization ID into the corresponding field. This ID links Ambo to your LinkedIn company page.
To find your LinkedIn Org ID:
- Go to your LinkedIn Company Page.
- Look at the URL. It will contain a numeric ID, e.g.
linkedin.com/company/12345678. The number is your Org ID. - Alternatively, find it in your LinkedIn Page admin panel under Admin tools.
Once set, this enables sharing posts as the company page and pulls in org-level LinkedIn analytics.
Email domain allow-list
Add one or more email domains (e.g. acme.com, acme.co.uk). When a new user signs up with a matching email address, Ambo automatically adds them to your organization without requiring a manual invite.
Automated sharing
Automated sharing lets Ambo post content for advocates on a schedule, without them having to log in and share manually.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Enable automated sharing | Turns the feature on or off for the whole organization. Individual advocates can also disable it for themselves. |
| Time slots | The times at which Ambo will trigger automated shares. Configured as cron expressions. |
| Timezone | Timezone is the local timezone of the admin editing the setting. |
Example time slot configurations:
- Every weekday at 9:00 AM:
0 9 * * 1-5 - Tuesday and Thursday at noon:
0 12 * * 2,4
Advocates can override the org schedule with their own custom slots in their personal settings.
RSS feed URLs
Add or remove RSS feed URLs in this section. Ambo polls them on a recurring schedule and generates draft posts from new items.
For full details on how RSS polling and AI content generation work, see RSS Feeds and Automated Content.
Slack integration
Click Connect Slack to authorize Ambo in your Slack workspace via OAuth. You’ll be prompted to select which Slack channel Ambo should post broadcast notifications to.
Once connected, Ambo can:
- Post to your designated Slack channel when new content is published.
- Send direct messages to individual advocates based on their emailIDs.
To disconnect, go to the same section and click Disconnect Slack.
For more on what Slack notifications Ambo sends, see Integrations: LinkedIn and Slack.
