Analytics and Reporting - Ambo Docs

Measure the impact of your advocacy program with org-level summaries, post performance, advocate engagement, and time-series metrics.

Ambo collects LinkedIn engagement data after each share: impressions, reactions, comments, reshares, and URL clicks. A background worker fetches this data from LinkedIn automatically. Analytics are available to admins under the Analytics section.

Org-level summary

The summary view shows aggregate metrics across your entire organization for a selected time period: total shares, impressions, reactions, and comments.

Each metric also shows a comparison to the previous period of the same length, so you can see whether activity is trending up or down without doing the math yourself.

Post performance

Top posts ranks your content by engagement. You can sort by shares, impressions, or reactions, and filter by date range and profile type (advocate or company page).

To drill into a single post, open it and go to its Analytics tab. This shows engagement broken down across all shares of that post, which is useful when a post has multiple variations targeting different audiences.

Advocate analytics

The Users analytics view shows per-advocate metrics: share count, impressions, and engagement for a selected date range.

Use the profile type filter to view advocate activity separately from company page activity. This is useful when your organization shares content both through individual advocates and through the LinkedIn company page.

Top shares

The Top Shares report shows individual share instances ranked by engagement. Unlike the top posts view (which aggregates across all shares of a post), this shows which specific shares drove the most results, including which advocate made them and when.

Time-series metrics

The time-series view charts share volume and impressions over a date range. Use it to spot patterns, days of the week with higher engagement, periods after a campaign, or drops in activity that might signal advocate fatigue.

Inactive advocates report

The Inactive Advocates report lists advocates who haven’t shared any content within a recent period. Use it to identify disengaged users and follow up before they stop participating entirely.

Average cost per click

Ambo can estimate ROI from your advocacy program if you configure a dollar value for average cost per click (CPC) in Settings → Organization. Once set, Ambo multiplies your tracked URL clicks by the CPC value and surfaces the estimated equivalent ad spend saved.

Data freshness

Analytics are aggregated daily at UTC midnight, so metrics may take up to 24 hours after a share to appear in Ambo.
